Website Resource and Online Visibility
A
well built website is an instant prospect gateway. But how do you make
it valuable as a client commitment tool and engage your clients to
return? Here are some simple techniques to turn your website into a
resource tool...
Resource and COI LinksGive your visitors something to click Add
5 websites that you visit on a regular basis to a “Resource” or
“Interesting Links” page. Also include 5 centers of influence links.
The goal of doing this is to create cross links which are beneficial to
your Search Engine Optimization.
Interesting Articles15 minutes a week equals results At
the end of every week take your favorite article and post it online.
Search Engines recognize these updates as new content and in turn they
will send more traffic to your website based on the articles and topics
you have written. By
just including the first sentence of the article (teaser sentence as we
call it) and a link to the full article, you can increase your
viewership by 60% and will also create an effective cross link as
mentioned above.
Meta InfoTake advantage of your BMS (Search Engine Optimization)
Every
content page on your website has a tool called ‘Meta Info’. This is
located on the right hand side of your page when you enter into any
content item through your Administrator. Meta Info allows you to add a
‘Description’ and ‘Keywords’ to your content page. By adding a relevant
description and keywords to the article or commentary you are posting,
you can greatly increase the visibility of your website to prospects
using search engines. Separate all of your keywords with a comma and a
space before starting the next, 15 is the suggested number by Google. Please note that each ‘Keyword’ can be a phrase and be made up of more than one word. Time to Revisit and Recharge Your PracticeNow,
